Play Therapist

I have spent 15 years witnessing the incredible magic that happens when a child feels truly understood. My heart for this work grew from a simple belief: play is a child's most honest voice. I created this cozy corner so your little one has a soft place to land and grow. Here, every giggle and game is a step toward healing, and your child is always my priority.

My Therapeutic Approach

I employ proven clinical methods to offer a secure, supportive space where your child can process feelings and build strength through the power of play.

Zen Garden Sand
Sand tray

Sand tray in the play room offers children a safe, contained space to express big feelings in a small, manageable world. As your child moves the sand, chooses figures, and creates scenes, I gently observe and support them to work through worries, fears, and past experiences at their own pace. This hands-on, sensory play can help children who struggle to talk about their feelings, giving them a calm way to show what’s going on inside and begin to heal.

Colorful Clay Arrangement
Clay

Clay in play therapy gives children a safe, hands-on way to shape, squeeze, and mold their feelings into something they can see and touch. As your child works with the clay, they can gently release tension, explore themes like control and change, and express worries or memories without needing to find the right words. This kind of sensory, creative play can be especially helpful for children who feel anxious, angry, or shut down, offering a calming, grounding way to process big emotions and build confidence.

Arts and Crafts

Arts and crafts in therapy give children a playful way to explore feelings, tell stories, and try out new ideas. Through drawing, painting, cutting, and creating, your child can express worries, hopes, and experiences that might be hard to put into words. This creative process helps build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a sense of pride in what they make, all while feeling safe, seen, and supported.

Colorful Finger Puppets
Music and Puppets

Music and puppets in the play room invite children to express feelings and stories in a gentle, playful way. Through songs, rhythms, and puppet characters, your child can safely explore worries, fears, and hopes without needing to talk directly about them. I use music and puppets to help children try out new roles, practice problem-solving, and find their own voice, all while feeling understood, supported, and free to be themselves.
